Extreme moose tracks. Two scoops for $2.70. What more do you want? Just go well worth it. And they are open late. They have plenty fo choices for flavors, so I'm sure they can find something you will want. It is a must go to for me and future trips to MB.

Very affordable. Fed 7 adults for less than $25. Unique selection of hard-packed flavors with standard soft-serve offerings. Scoops are generous and they let you combine flavors. Highly recommend the pecan praline. The waffle cone itself was very tasty. There are a few tables outside on a rather busy sidewalk with several nearby restaurants if you're looking to make an evening out of it.

Went there on my last trip to MB. Great ice cream and great service! And $2.70 for two giant scoops? How can you go wrong. I'll be sure to return when I go back down.

As the other reviewers have said, this place is cheap. Split an ice cream with someone for 3 bucks. There's a decent selection of those big bucket type ice creams you see around .The flavor isn't amazing, but it hits the spot on a nice warm day at the beach. The two flavors I got White Chocolate with Caramel and this hazelnut with chocolate were both solid. I can't really complain and I'll probably be back next time I'm around.

Two scoops of ice cream are 2.70 plus tax. Enough said. Well I guess I will say more, like how the ice cream is really good and there are several flavors available. The scoops are indeed quite generous and they have a few other items to offer too, like churros. This is a no frills kind of place with the main focus being ice cream, good ice cream. There are also tables to sit at outside with umbrellas, you know, if you are into that sort of thing.

The ice cream here is good, but I'd also say it's average. The price is reasonable if you get a cup, but I found it slightly pricey if you get a waffle cone. However, the following night I had ice cream in a waffle cone at Kohr's at Barefoot Landing - that place taught me the meaning of pricey. Dairy King is cheap compared to Kohr's. The Mint Chocolate Chip at Kohr's is also homemade, which was not the case here at Dairy King. Additionally, the waffle cones at Dairy King are homemade, and while I initially thought the waffle cones were burned due to their darkened appearance, I'm fairly certain they add cinnamon to their cones. While I like cinnamon and this could be considered a plus, I'm also slightly allergic to cinnamon as it makes my mouth swell when I eat it. If they do add cinnamon, they should probably post a warning. If you're wanting convenient ice cream in North Myrtle Beach, this place will do, but I'd recommend a cup instead of a waffle cone.

Pros: $2.70 for two generous scoops in a cup. They have around 16 ice creams and 6-8 Italian ices. Cons: Mediocre ice cream. You can buy this type of ice cream at a grocery store. In MB you don't deserve a high rating for serving pre-made stuff in a lackluster hole in the wall. Parking is non-existent. You'll be parking a few shops away in someone else's lot, which is pretty normal, but be aware if that isn't your jazz. I will not visit again. I will go find real ice cream.

2 scoops for price of 1 @ $2.70. Good deal. They have 40 flavors to choose from. Also good hot dog special. 1 Nathan's hotdog plus chips and soda is $3.75. Double that order and its $6.50. Wish we came here first before blowing 6-7 bux @ kohrs bros and Kiss which were tourist traps. Also there is outdoor seating so u can relax while you enjoy your frozen treats. Beach is right across the street

Awesome lil ice cream joint nestled on Main St. Sugar shack sits almost directly across from here and the patrons stemmed more attracted to Dairy King. Not a place to sit inside, however an abundance of seating outside, which is perfect being in Myrtle! Seven of us went in, five of which were kids, and service was awesome to EACH one of us. If you've read my previous reviews, service will ALWAYS be important, and they nailed it! On the taste test side of things, each flavor was AWESOME! The banana crime pie is to die for, and the others held up the same. Pricing is fair, and napkins are abundant! So good, my son dropped his first scoop, 5 second ruled that yo, and ate it anyway! Definitely worth the stop if you're in the North Myrtle area! KCCO!!!

Yum! Two scoops of ice cream for around $2.70 and open late at night? What else could you ask for! They also have tons of ice cream flavors, frozen yogurt, frozen bananas, and even hot dogs. The owners are really friendly and the scoops of ice cream are huge (much more than the ones from Sugar Shack across the street). If I ever make it back to Myrtle Beach I'll be sure to stop by again!

After waiting 10 minutes in line we were given a hard time for requesting a sample of a mint chocolate chip. He told us "we were killing him" and McDonalds doesn't give free samples and why should he. We left and he could have cared less. I would have fired him on the spot if it were my business.

Good ice cream, giant selection, I think the sign said 40 flavors, and prices are pretty reasonable. The first visit the wife and I were out and about bouncing around from little shop to shop and were desperate for a small snack...enter dairy king, 2 dogs, 2 drinks, 2 bags of chips for like 6$.... the next evening we found ourselves back in the area and line at sugar shack was crazy so we stopped by for frozen treats. My two scooper waffle bowl was pretty good had white chocolate caramel crunch or something like that, and was not disappointed. My wife just got a couple scoops or chocolate brownie which she enjoyed as well. The only complaint our group had was my sister got a vanilla softserve and it literally had no flavor. It was so weird it was just a creamy flavorless mush ha... texture was good just so weird it tasted like nothing. Mostly just outside seating along main street, it seemed to be warmer inside than outside so the few seats available inside remained empty while we were there. Again prices are reasonable, ice cream is pretty good but nothing special to set this place apart from every other small ice cream shop in Myrtle Beach. I would go back though.

Been coming to this ice cream shop for at least 5 years. Service is outstanding!!! Wonderful selection, great places to sit outside and enjoy life's little pleasure of ice cream. The owners, Joe and Denise, are wonderful people who have made many friends from customers that pass through in the summer. The staff are friendly and give all who enter a hello and a smile. Definitely will return many more times

Good little ice cream shop. Very decent prices (2 scoops for the price of 1). I recommend coming here instead of across the street at the Sugar Shack which is pricier. Personally, I don't see a huge difference with Blue Bell Ice Cream and Dreyers or Breyers or whatever they serve at Dairy King (Across the street is Blue Bell, which is probably why they are more expensive). The owner at Dairy King is super nice and generous with his scoops. I say this is a good recommendation for ice cream that is yummy, sizable and decently priced! (And their homemade waffle cones are soooo good)!

Dairy King is a real treat. We have been coming for years! Generous sizes for meager prices. Looks like a real dive but looks mean nothing regarding ice cream. Hot treats cool eats!

Great place. The service staff was fast and friendly. They have many flavors of ice cream to choose from and also sell other items... like hot dogs. The price was also cheap. What else can you ask for?
